The Civil Wars continued on in skirmishes between the monarchists and the separatists through several generations, until a time roughly matching with our own in the year a certain Jewish carpenter was crucified in Jerusalem. (Our Earth being one of the most distant places within the MultiWorlds - so far removed from the True Earth that it contains many galaxies.) The Father's Incarnation complete, he sent out new beings similar to the Titans and the Urges, in that they had body, mind, and spirit, but unlike Men were Immortal - and unlike Angels, lived within time and possessed Free Will, so that they might fall like the Uncreator. These beings, Messengers sent to spread the Father's news throughout every distant world, were called many things. Within the Twelve Kingdoms, the people called them "Fairies."
Twelve Fairies were sent to the world still caught in Civil War, and immediately began the work of creating order, establishing nations, and instructing the clans in the Faith. The race of Men were at first disposed to worship the Fairies - as they had somewise done with the Titans, and even to a degree the Wolf King - but the Fairies refused, instead anointing priests and building convents. Over time, the nations created by each of the Twelve Fairies began to take on the character and interests of their rulers which persist to this very day. |
